According to the structure, regulator can be divided in the form of leveraged and balanced spool type two kinds

Rod series regulator is passed acting force through the lever force, the regulator outlet pressure is set by adjusting the spring. When the flow increases downstream of the regulator, outlet pressure P2 downward trend, then, under the regulation of the main pressure chamber is decreased, the film is moved downward so that the main action of the spring in the regulation; leverage in the valve away from the valve stem to drive the valve mouth, so that the regulator is opened, thereby increasing the flow through the valve port to maintain constant downstream pressure. When the regulator downstream flow decreases, its role and the above process is reversed until the regulator is closed.

Balanced spool-type regulator 

The membrane (M) by the operation of the spool (S) transmitted to the valve (P), the outlet pressure by the pressure sensing pipe is connected to film (M), producing a spring force (D) counter. To touch the skin of the gas pressure shut-off valve, and then I want to open the valve spring pressure (fault both being opened). 

When no airflow, the spring valve is fully open. when the overpressure regulator closed, the valve pad (Q) and the valve (P) is integral to ensure complete sealing. Against the action of the spring when the outlet pressure balance, a film of a spool valve combinations remain intact, while the outlet pressure is in line with the spring set point. Traffic demand increases, the outlet pressure drop is greater than the spring outlet pressure, the valve opens, until the resumption of exports until the set pressure. When the outlet pressure increases, the process is reversed.

In the tuning period, should be very slow and extreme caution to open shut-off valve to prevent the strong airflow to damage regulator downstream equipment under any circumstances

Steps are as follows: 

1, in accordance with the system characteristics, step by step so that a small amount of gas flow. So, open the exhaust downstream of the regulator wire blocking, if difficult, then open the outlet valve a little bit. 

2, slowly open the inlet valve a little bit. 

3, resetting the shut-off valve (if any) 

4, until the outlet pressure stable, fully open the inlet valve slowly at first, then slowly open the outlet valve completely. 

Setting is done during the operation of the regulator, the inlet valve is slightly opened, and the regulator outlet end of the exhaust nozzle, the adjuster (L or T) to increase the pressure to the rotation clockwise or counterclockwise rotation decreases.
